Standard shipping is free on orders over $60 and priority shipping options are available at checkout.
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information, this will typically be within 1 business day.
Delivery times vary depending on your location, but we aim to deliver within 3 days of despatch.
In summer months, we ship all chocolate packages with insulation & ice packs to ensure safe delivery. For some locations, this may mean a surcharge is necessary to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
It's important that your order is not left out in the heat, so we'll email you to let you know when it's out for delivery - please ensure that it is brought inside as soon as possible on delivery.
If your order arrives in less than perfect condition, please contact our team with images of the damage on usahelp@hotelchocolat.com and we'll be happy to resolve.

2. Aztec Inspired Whisk
We're not looking for frothy chocolate milk, we want velvety liquid chocolate. For this, we took design inspiration from an ancient Aztec chocolate whisk called a molinillo to deliver a perfect texture every time.
We believe chocolate should contain more cacao than anything else. That's why we've dedicated so much effort to helping improve the way it's farmed.
Through our gentle farming programme, we partner with over 2,500 farmers to promote sustainable farming techniques in return for above market rates for their crops.

I bought a kit for the first time for my daughter in law's birthday. It came so nice in the box, I decided to buy one for myself. I'm so happy I did! It's so easy to make and maintain. The chocolate is delicious, it warms up on a perfect temperature. It's not too sweet and a perfect cup size. The cups are nice too. I bought a third kit for my daughter for Mother's day and She loves it!
Love the Velvetiser and chocolate flakes. The only thing I would change is for the Velvetiser to heat chocolate to truly HOT. I always have to microwave 20-30 seconds. This is my second Velvetiser, and I had to do the same with the first.

We love our Velvetiser. Easy to use and clean. We have tried the following flakes: 70%, 85%, Salty Caramel, Hazelnut Praline. We love them all but really like the Salty Caramel. Also a shout out to Alecia, Customer Service. She has been great to work with. Believe me you will not be disappointed in this product or the flakes. Getting ready to order more and try some new flavors.
This is no ordinary hot chocolate maker. It’s a firm sturdy beautiful hot chocolate machine with a gorgeous handle. All I have to do is pour in the milk and tear open the pouch to pour it in. I push a button on the side and I get supreme lusciously, hot chocolate! The cups are beautiful and the hot chocolate is so very delicious. I don’t even use my Nespresso machine anymore. I use my hotel chocolat maker everyday. This was worth every penny.
Although I was initially skeptical about the value of having a hot chocolate maker, especially since I have so many kitchen appliances including a Keurig, I am now thrilled that I have this! The drinks are a delightful treat, actually much better than anticipated. Gourmet hot chocolate with so many great flavors and at the perfect temperature—all about 2 minutes is unbeatable! Where has this been all my life?
Excellent taste and nice variations in flavors provided. Overall everything is a little overpriced but the quality is quite good. I wish the unit was easier to clean between servings as I always feel I need to be careful not to dampen the bottom.

It's great! Only issue is that it does not make cocoa as warm as I want it (it's lukewarm, I want hot) and it's a bit annoying to clean.
Small issue with the timeliness of delivery, but you resolved that satisfactorily, and it was understandable, given the holiday. The chocolate is outstanding, not as sweet as the commercial chocolate, which makes it better to drink, in my opinion. The ease of operation and cleanup is outstanding as well. I was a bit worried that it would be a hassle to clean, but it was super easy. It's a perfect size to store easily as well. All in all, a nice little gift for myself.

We love our new Velvetiser and are so happy with the purchase. I looked at it for a while and am so glad to buy during the Black Friday sale. No regrets! It’s a family favorite and even our friends are enjoying it when they visit. The cocoa is delicious and the perfect sipping temperature. I like to think I’m sitting at a European bistro, enjoying the rich cocoa.
I was holding off to write a review until I get several uses and try all the flavors my bundle came with, but I feel obligated to write one this morning. I received the Charcoal Starter Bundle from my wonderful wife for Christmas after a year of talking about wanting one. It came with 50%, 70%, Orange Chocolate, and Salted Caramel. So far I have made all but the Orange. I have to say, I was expecting the 70% to be the best upon reading reviews, but I tried the Salted Caramel this morning and I could not stop “yumming” the entire time. It is so delicious and I feel needs way more love in the reviews. As for the machine itself, it works like a dream. I have been making “good” hot chocolate in saucepans for a while, and this machine makes it just as good in a fraction of the time with no mess. I have had no issues with the wisk not working yet although I do agree, it feels a little on the cheap side. However I also feel like as long as the directions are being followed properly, and you handle the Velvetiser with care and as delicately as it handles the milk and chocolate, you should have no issues. To wrap this up, this machine is awesome and I love it. You’ll love it too! Enjoy!
This was a Christmas gift for my husband. He ,loves chocolate and he loves this! He tried the dark chocolat peppermint first and it was a hit.

This was a splurge for me but oh boy! Was it worth it! I don’t like overly sweet hot chocolate so this is perfect. I enjoy the dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and mint chocolate flavors. I ordered the white chocolate for my kiddo when they come home for college break. Personally, I don’t care for white chocolate. I don’t understand why anyone would choose it when delicious dark and milk chocolate exist in the world. ;-) Definitely recommend!
The only thing i would want to change is to have like 8x5 of different types of chocolate instead of 4x10, because from default choice i liked 50% milky and salted caramel, but 70% one and mint is a little bit overwhelming taste for me. But overall it's exactly what i wanted.
I love hot chocolate, and then while a cup of Swiss miss can be nice once I'm a while I love cafe hot chocolate with the flakes. I used to make it at home but it took ages and then I heard of this, and boy I've wanted one for years. My mother got it for my upcoming birthday and I've already been using it a lot. It's handy, easy to clean and I adore the chocolate drinks I get far more then any other I've had in years. Simply put, I love it. I'm using this until the end of time, and although a bit pricey I say it's worth it.
I have a breville milk frother. I use your packets in your machine as I am not going to void the warrenty.. but I think your machine makes a smoother hot chocolate, the breville can be tweaked. As such it gave me the idea of using a small grinder to chop up some local chocolate to use in the BREVILLE!!! (not yours, I don't dare mess with the warrenty). so this machine has expanded my horizons. I suppose it is risky to mention what I'm doing if something happens to the machine but I prefer the velvetizer. I have at least 1 cup per day (I have to watch my sugar intake) and I look forward to that.. I just recently heard of the Mars acquisition. I just hope they don't ruin your company. I'm in the states but I do not trust many of these ***** American corporations and their ability to ruin a good thing.

I have not yet tasted it. However, some of the boxes were wet from the ice pack. They fell apart. Hopefully the chocolate inside is still okay.
The chocolate is hot and very delicious. Very easy to use and clean. I do think it's a bit pricey but that's life. LOL

Whilst we're a British company, we made these Velvetisers specifically for the US market. They're built to work with 110V power and are fitted with standard US outlets - no ugly converters required!

While they may be distant cousins, the Velvetiser is very different to a milk frother in lots of ways. A milk frother is designed to create foamy volumous milk - not what you want in a hot chocolate. The Velvetiser on the other hand was obsessively engineered to create the perfect hot chocolate texture.
The whisk was designed to mimic a traditional hot chocolate whisk and the slow temperature increase allows for gentle melting & incorporation of the chocolate at exactly the right time. The result? Not a foamy beer-like head, but a velvet-smooth hot chocolate.
Our hot chocolate flakes are carefully crafted to work optimally with the Velvetiser. Using other chocolate may not work properly and risks damaging the Velvetiser - for this reason it would invalidate your warranty.
