Standard shipping is free on orders over $60 and priority shipping options are available at checkout.
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information, this will typically be within 1 business day.
Delivery times vary depending on your location, but we aim to deliver within 3 days of despatch.
In summer months, we ship all chocolate packages with insulation & ice packs to ensure safe delivery. For some locations, this may mean a surcharge is necessary to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
It's important that your order is not left out in the heat, so we'll email you to let you know when it's out for delivery - please ensure that it is brought inside as soon as possible on delivery.
If your order arrives in less than perfect condition, please contact our team with images of the damage on usahelp@hotelchocolat.com and we'll be happy to resolve.

The cocoa advent collection is ok. The machine itself is sturdy and well made. The whip mechanism is definitely a fun surprise when the cocoa is finished heating up. I wish there were more dark chocolate, cinnamon, ginger mixtures available outside the advent collection. Good for a small group (less than 5) since you have to make the cocoa one at a time.
I love the machine and the flavors the advent calendar comes in. So rich and creamy and not to sweet.
The chocolate is so delicious and decadent! It was a treat to myself, but my family enjoys it too. Right now we are trying to decide what our favorite flavors are so that we can purchase more.
My experience was total crap. It arrived waterlogged and damaged and I still haven’t got my replacement. What a joke of an email

I ordered the advent calendar bundle and did not receive the whole order as they have advertised. For the price and the supposed to be a reputable company, this is equivalent to false advertisement and scamming customers of their money. I didn’t order the chocolates because I was thinking of using the ones in the bundle hence, I can’t say the hype is real. If I could give this ZERO score for the review, I will. How hard can your job be to fulfill orders accurately?

It’s was a funny surprise each day trying something new . Good amount to share with someone . Only downside the package could be better . When I receive the package and took it out the cover , it was open from the bottom and top . I had to tape it up . But still had a great time being surprised.

My granddaughter wanted one last year and couldn't order in time. This year, I started looking ahead of time and got this so she will love this gift.
My wife likes it and due to this I am concerned it might not last until December before it has been opened and used.

I bought this Advent Calendar for my wife as a pre-Christmas gift. She loves it! Everyday she enjoys another delicious chocolate flavor. The only problem I can see is, Christmas is only a few days away and the calendar will be finished. I’m sure we’ll be ordering a few boxes of our favorites soon. Highly recommended for the chocolate lovers on your list next year.

Everything looks beautiful! But that's where the positive ends. Not only do I not notice a texture difference between using milk and your chocolate pouches vs my regular Stephen's hot chocolate and water - Making it not worth the extra fat and calories of using milk, three chocolate doesn't even fully melt in this overpriced "velvitizer". There always clumps of unmerited chocolate left on the spinning part and cooked on film at the bottom that makes cleaning in between uses cumbersome. But most egregious is the awful taste! There haven't been any flavors I've actually enjoyed, and so far only a couple that I even find drinkable. Everything has such a bitter, "burnt coffee ground" taste to it. I love dark chocolate and regularly get 60%-70% dark. I've had rich, velvety drinking chocolate in Europe. This is not that. It just taste like what a coffee drinker who hate chocolate imagines chocolate should taste like? It's horrible and mostly undrinkable. I notice the first ingredient on most packages isn't chocolate, but chocolate liqueur, so maybe that's the problem. I could not recommend to anyone and am deeply regretting my own purchases. It's already the 19th, and I've only brought myself to open 6 of the does of the advent calendar, and have skipped a couple, having already tried and hated the flavors from the variety sample I ordered at the same time off of Amazon. I dread each day instead of looking forward to it. Really, just cannot express how truly, truly terrible this product and my decision to spend so much money on it is. Easily my number one buyers remorse purchase of all time. Sorry, but it's definitely not for me... ugh!

Everthing tasted good and looked amazing, but there were quite a few repeats which was disappointing. There were also no cold chocolate pouches, I figured if I was buy the new Velvetiser model that can do cold, it would come with at least 1 or 2 comd chocolate. But i will be buy some

Chocolate is good but all the packets shift so multiple packets were under the same window eliminating the surprise.
Good value but majority of the flavors in the calendar aren’t that great. A couple are excellent but there are not enough of those in the calendar. Wish I had just bought a box of what I really wanted. I don’t recommend the calendar…just buy a box of what you like.
My boys were very excited to receive these advent calendars this yr. Every yr I try and get them something different and this yr I was pretty stumped on what to get them, but when I stumbled upon these calendars I knew I couldn't go wrong! They were both so excited to start trying all the new flavors! Definitely a winner!

I bought three advent calendars with the velvetiser as gifts and everyone absolutely loves them. The chocolate is velvety and delicious with great flavors each day. The velvetiser is a must have. It makes the chocolate so smooth and is the perfect sipping temperature. It makes a great gift for the chocolate lover in your life.
Love how quick this makes hot chocolate, but that being said it doesnt taste like what i thought it would very strong with some very watery with others . Havent found that perfect flavor yet.

The overall concept is good, but suffers from one fundamental flaw: packets included seem to be designed for the new version of the velvetiser, and are not flakes like the kind used in the original version of the product. As a result, they don’t fully melt and blend with the milk, leaving behind a sludge that makes the unit considerably more difficult to clean and ends up wasting perfectly good chocolate that should have gone into the drink.
